Vale Myrtle Bayliss (nee Craddock)

Former Australian female Test cricketer Myrtle Bayliss (nee Craddock) has passed away at the age of 94.

Bayliss made her debut against New Zealand in Wellington and went on to play six Tests for Australia Women from 1948 – 1951, collecting 16 wickets.

The Victorian was retrospectively presented with her Baggy Green and Test cap number 30.

A sporting all-rounder of immense talent, she was a member of Australia’s first-ever Australian international netball tour in 1948 and inducted into the Australia Netball Hall of Fame in 2012.
