The ACA, via significant financial contributions from players, has invested in a number of programs which benefit Grassroots Cricket and Premier Cricket around the country.
The Grassroots Cricket Fund has been established by Australia’s cricketers to strengthen grassroots cricket in this country for generations to come. Players have committed up to $30 million in funds from professional Australian cricket player payments to be invested to support and strengthen Australian community cricket.
Delivered in partnership with Cricket Australia, the Fund ensures community cricket clubs and indoor cricket centres around Australia get much-needed investment to reinforce their position as pillars for local communities that offer welcoming and inclusive environments for players of all abilities, fans, umpires, officials and volunteers.
The ACA Premier Cricket Program has been designed to support ACA members in their post-cricket lives via a program that retains and harnesses the skill, experience and knowledge of ACA Members to identify, instruct and inspire talent through both the male and female Premier Cricket pathways.
The ACA Premier Cricket Program has invested over $5 million since 2014, and supports all 105 Premier Cricket Clubs around Australia.
