ACA Footy Tipping

With both the AFL and NRL seasons coming to an end, the ACA would like to thank all of our members who participated in our tipping competition in 2023.

We’d also like to thank our member discounts Future Golf, Tempur, New Balance, Wilson & Kookaburra for their generosity in providing our winners with prizes for this year’s competitions. A reminder of the prizes on offer for both competitions this year are:

AFL Tipping Competition

This season there were 162 members who took part in our AFL tipping competition. It was hotly contested right throughout the season with as the top 10 were only separated by a total of 5 tips. Finishing in first place on 150 is current NSW Breakers player Saskia Horley. Former South Australian fast bowler Dean Sayers finished in second on 148 with fellow South Australian Mark Eaton finishing third on 147.

1^st Place: Saskia Horley -150 Tips

2^nd Place: Dean Sayers – 148 Tips

3^rd Place: Mark Eaton – 147 Tips

NRL Tipping Competition

For the first time ever, the ACA introduced an NRL Tipping Competition in 2023 which saw 42 members participate. Our NSW members dominated proceedings taking out all podium spots with Ann Markham the eventual winner on 143 tips. She was closely followed by former NSW all-rounder Matthew Betsey on 141 tips and recently retired wicket-keeper Jay Lenton on 140.
