ACA welcomes Nick Winter and Dawn Holden to Cricket Operations and Player Relations

4 October, 2023

The ACA is pleased to announce we have recruited Nick Winter and Dawn Holden to share the role of Cricket Operations and Player Relations Coordinator; while Lachlan McKenna has stepped into the Senior Manager role as Lauren Ebsary is on maternity leave after welcoming her daughter, Banksie, to the world on 28 September.

Nick Winter is a first-year transition player member after being contracted in South Australia for the best part of the last 10 years. He is very familiar with the organisation, having been an ACA delegate for the past five years.

“When I look back on my ten-year journey, the support I received from the ACA from day one was evident,” says Nick.

“The ACA takes a holistic view on ‘player development’ and takes your off-field success every bit as seriously as it does your on-field success. As a player moving into the next phase of my career, it is great to know that you’ve got that support when the phones go quiet.”

Dawn Holden is a past player member that played for England and had five seasons playing domestically in Australia where she played for Western Australia and then Queensland.

“As a younger player we relied on older players, those with experience, to provide us with support. You just hoped that you had good people around,” says Dawn.

“When I came and played in Australia the level of support provided by the ACA made me feel valued and understood. You were part of something bigger, and it made it easier for you to focus on cricket.”

The ACA Cricket Operations and Player Relations team is:
