With the 2024-25 international summer winding down, the ACA has now completed Member functions in Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and New South Wales.
The ACA’s annual member functions are a fantastic opportunity for our members to connect with both each other and ACA staff.
Where possible, we hosted formal proceedings, as our MC’s Bobby Quiney or Wayne Phillips ran through the recent happenings and important information about the ACA, as well as a guest speaker and/or panel discussion. We thank our guest speakers and panel participants for their involvement across the functions.
To be able to come together to catch up and reminisce, with familiar faces of all ages and experiences is incredibly important for the ACA.
The Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne functions were at Test matches during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Hobart and Adelaide’s functions were at the Women’s Ashes, and Sydney at the Sydney Smash BBL game.
Providing an opportunity for our members to connect at these big games is special, and being able to foster a positive experience for our members is a huge part in continuing to hold these functions. Being able to do so over some hospitality and a game of cricket makes for an environment that we hope everyone can be comfortable in.
With six functions now completed, we’re glad that 213 members were able to attend and make the most of the opportunities that we provided.
If you made the effort to come along, thank you, and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
If you didn’t, we’d love to have you come along next summer. Keep an eye on your emails later this year for more information!
