Healy & Henriques: Players thrilled to be launching the Grassroots Cricket Fund for its third season

3 September, 2020

To Australian Community Cricket Clubs, Players, Volunteers and fans,

On behalf of the players, the ACA and Cricket Australia, we are thrilled to be launching the Grassroots Cricket Fund for its third season.

As players, we care deeply about the health of the game at the grassroots level.

It is where we got our start, developed our skills and fell in love with the game.

That’s why in 2017 we committed up to $30 million for the Grassroots Cricket Fund, to help support strengthen Australian community cricket.

2020-21 is going to be a season like no other, with many clubs and communities recovering from the effects of bushfires and COVID-19.

So for the third year running, the Grassroots Cricket Fund is making $2 million available for Equipment Grants to community cricket clubs, to help deliver great experiences and to support your local communities.

What you provide local communities around Australia is so important, so we hope that these grants play a small role in helping your club this summer.
