Jo Angel to take part in Up All Night walk

25 February, 2021

Former Australian fast bowler Jo Angel will be taking part in the Ronald McDonald House Charities’ ‘Up All Night’ walk in Perth on Saturday March 6.

Jo will be joining his wife, Randi, who participated in the same event last year, going the 42km distance to raise funds and awareness for sick children going through medical treatment and their families.

“My wife and I, we’ve been fortunate. We haven’t had to use Ronald McDonald House ourselves, but I know a few people who have, and I think it is a great charity,” said Jo.

“What they provide to the families to be able to be near their kids when they go through treatment is fantastic, particularly those who live remotely.

“That was the real driver behind wanting to get involved.”

The 42km walk will take Jo and Randi from Perth’s CBD to Fremantle and back again, the couple did an 18km walk last week as a bit of preparation.
