Past Player Health and Wellbeing Grants to open in September

The Australian Cricketers’ Association Past Player Health and Wellbeing Grants will open to past-playing members in September.

Similar to previous years, the grant (or reimbursement) will be paid upon the submission of this application form, which requires current financial year receipts.

An in-depth analysis of how ACA Members have been utilising the ACA Health and Wellbeing Grants

Members who hold a government issued Health Care Card (pensioners, carers and alike) can apply to receive $200 or $500 grant or reimbursement.

The impact of the grants is reflected in the gracious appreciation of our past playing members:

Unfortunately I continue to have issues with my knee and shoulder post cricket. This will assist ease the burden in a small way and assist me to manage my ongoing health and wellbeing

In 2019/20 the ACA reimbursed 839 members, worth almost $240,000. The legacy of the current players will continue to ensure those who played the game before them are remembered and supported.
