Usman Khawaja Retires From International Cricket

2 January, 2026

The ACA congratulates Usman Khawaja on an outstanding international career.

After making his Test debut in 2011, Usman has represented Australia on 136 occasions and has always done so with elegance and class.

Alongside his 16 Test centuries and 2 ODI centuries, Usman has had a substantial impact off the field. He has been an Elected Director on the ACA Board since 2021, as well as performing the role of Delegate.

ACA CEO Paul Marsh paid tribute to Usman:

"Usman has been a pivotal player in a golden era for Australian cricket.

He has contributed to countless Australian wins but equally as important, has been a leader of the playing group for many years.

All at the ACA congratulate Usman on a brilliant international career."

We applaud Usman and wish him all the best as he steps away from International cricket.
