Education Grants

Current and recently off-contract players (up to three years) are encouraged to pursue education and training opportunities. The ACA, through GamePlan, makes a significant commitment to subside players’ development through the provision of grants.

If you are an ACA member and are in one of the following categories you may be eligible for a grant up to $4000 towards professional development and formalised learning (depending on the course type and other funding guidelines):

  • State or Australian contract
  • W/BBL contract
  • Transition player (up to three years off state/Australian contract; up to one year off W/BBL contract)

To find our more about the Education and Training Grants please contact your Player Development Manager, Player Transition Manager or ACA GamePlan Administrator Elesha Te Paa on etepaa@auscricket.com.au on 03 9698 7200.

The education grants are amazing really. To sit back and think about the opportunity it gives players to study, and not just giving us some funding for that, but it's also opportunities and being able to work in different places and try new things.
