Statement from ACA Interim CEO Joe Connellan:
“Our first class domestic cricket competitions, including the WNCL, remain the engine room of cricket in this country.
The WNCL provides opportunities for our female cricketers to showcase their amazing skills, matched against the best in the land.
It is the foundation for the tremendous success of our World Cup winning women’s national team.
We congratulate CA and the players for their enduring efforts and nimbleness in ensuring the full domestic season is played in these challenging times.”
