ACA Welcomes return of a full domestic schedule

"The ACA welcomes Cricket Australia’s announcement of a return to a full domestic schedule, particularly a 31-game Sheffield Shield campaign and a 29-game Women’s National Cricket League fixture.

"Our players have always maintained that domestic cricket is an integral part of the Australian game and are pleased that this has been recognised as part of the overall 2021-22 schedule which also includes 29 international fixtures including eight Test matches.

"Last season, the first-class game provided the summer with great momentum and interest, demonstrating the value of a properly funded and formatted domestic competition."
